How to: Invite guests to book additional options after the original registration

In some cases, you may need to get general attendance for the event before you get the details for the social program. In this case, the event can be configured to allow guests to create a second booking later.

Step-by-step guide

It is recommended to gather all essential information from guests during the initial registration process whenever possible. If registration is conducted in phases, there's a risk that guest information might be incomplete, requiring time-consuming follow-ups.

1. General registration for the event

  1. Configure event with already known booking selection
  2. Activate event
  3. Send invitation to guests
  4. Wait for registrations

2. Register for the detailed program afterwards

  1. Add further options to the event
  2. Activate the option "Multiple options bookable" under booking options (if not already activated).
  3. Prepare a campaign to contacts with a confirmed booking and place the personal event website link on a button that invites guests in the text to book the new options in the event

Refunds are subject to a fee of CHF 2.50 per transaction in addition to the processing fee. Whether this fee will be borne by the guest or the organizer can be determined by you. The refund will then be processed for the full or partial amount. Ideally, you should specify this in your guest terms and conditions.
