Enable secure sign-in for your users using existing company accounts via OAuth 2.0.
The OAuth 2.0 integration in Oniva allows you to manage login and authentication for admin users or participants via external identity providers. Users can sign in to Oniva using existing accounts – for example via Google, Microsoft or other OAuth-compatible systems – without needing separate credentials. This enhances security, reduces password-related issues and improves the overall user experience. For organisations, it provides full control over access and permissions within their existing identity management system.
Instructions
- Check: make sure single sign-on (SSO) is activated on your own licence (if not, contact the Oniva support team)
- Activate SSO: activate SSO in the organisation settings and enter the details
- Create account type: create at least one account type with SSO
- Create accounts with SSO
Requirements
- Active account with an identity provider that supports OAuth 2.0
(e.g. Google Cloud Console, Azure AD app registration) - Admin rights in Oniva
